Abstract
[1] The Historical City: Diachronic Accumulation and Spatial Transition of Nantou Old Town in Shenzhen
Speaker: Shen HUANG
Nantou Old Town is a rare case in Shenzhen that uniquely juxtaposes a millennium of history with over four decades of rapid urbanization. By analyzing its spatial traces—such as morphological configuration, street texture, cadastral pattern, and buildings—alongside local historical records, and by investigating the century-long housing practices of a single local family spanning four generations, this lecture seeks to uncover and interpret the diachronic accumulation and spatial transition of Nantou Old Town.
[2] The Coded “City”: Campus under Morphological Parameter Regulation
Speaker: Ranting ZHAO
Nowadays campus has gradually evolved into a multi-dimensional system. This lecture analyzes campus from quantified urban morphology, with three key areas: type selection, parameter control, and efficiency optimization, exploring diverse pathways for current campus development.
