Abstract
From the spark of inspiration to script development, and from directorial vision and rehearsal practice to final stage performance, this presentation explores the complete journey of a theatrical work from inception to realization.
Speaker Bio
Yihao Xu is a professional director and a candidate at Peking University. He has been selected for the National Theatre of China’s Young Director Support Program and the Publicity Department’s National Young Playwrights Program. Additionally, he is recognized as a specialized talent in the Musical Theatre Youth Research Project by the China Theater Literature Association and has served as a featured speaker for the American Alliance for Theatre and Education. His representative works include The Swallow Tower (Yanzi Lou), Othello, and Live Out Yourself.
