March 14–15, 2026 (Saturday & Sunday)
2:00–5:00 PM ET
CAMLab Cave
485 Broadway, Harvard University
Following six months of renovation, CAMLab Cave reopens this March to inaugurate its Spring 2026 season with a special Open House.
Visitors will encounter two immersive works in the newly transformed space: “Digitally Revived: The World’s Largest Buddhist City, ca. 500,” a research-based digital installation reconstructing sixth-century Luoyang, and “Shadow Cave: Contemplation on Four Elements,” a multimedia installation reinterpreting the ancient myth of the Buddha’s shadow image.
These projects emerge from CAMLab’s ongoing exploration of translating scholarly research into sensory experience through digital modeling, spatial design, and immersive theater.
Join us to explore how digital technologies can render the past visible, audible, and fully experiential.
