Reimagining the Northern Dynasties: From Archaeological Sites to Digital Futures

“Reimagining the Northern Dynasties: From Archaeological Sites to Digital Futures” brings together leading scholars across disciplines to exchange insights and foster dialogue on key issues concerning the history, archaeology, art, and cultural heritage of the Northern Dynasties. With a particular emphasis on how digital technologies can reshape our understanding of the past, the conference seeks to explore new interdisciplinary approaches that connect historical inquiry with contemporary perspectives.

Running from November 1 to November 2, 2025, at the Harvard Center Shanghai, the conference is organized and hosted by Harvard FAS CAMLab, and sponsored by the Harvard China Fund.

This event is made possible through the generous support of the Harvard China Fund, to whom we extend our sincere gratitude for their continued encouragement and commitment to advancing scholarly exchange and collaborative research.

Please note

The conference will be live-streamed via Zoom. Advance registration is required.
